The story of founders

AISHO was founded by a Japanese couple, Akiko and Kazuki.

One of their characteristics would be the 15 year age difference. Kazuki was 21 years old when they gave a birth to their son. This post will explore their background and story.

Akiko and Kazuki met in December 2018 when they went skiing with other friends. They became friends and things went fast since then.

In May 2020, they had their son born. There were many stories in regards to the birth of their son. They tried to give a birth in the US, but it wasn't realized because of the pandemic, so they stayed in Tokyo.

Akiko has worked as midwife and she preferred to go through vaginal delivery since it can give baby a whole collection of bacteria that will form microbiome and protect them from the external environment.

However, she had some imminence and had to give up that.

She then researched a lot about microbiome and bacteria to let her son grow healthy. That's how she started to learn about microbiome.

After their son was born, they moved to Osaka for 3 months. It was just a sudden idea, but they made some memories there. Then they entered the US, and returned to Kazuki's apartment.

The apartment was designed for college students and therefore, it wasn't big enough for a family. In addition, they had a roommate who spent 5 months together.

They have faced various challenges such as time management, lack of own resource to bootstrap the business. Even through these times, they had put decent effort into this project and built the foundation.

Their challenge is still ongoing, but they strive to deliver the products that will solve people's health concerns.
